It is nearly christmas and I can not believe it.

Well, not enough time for anything basically.

I need to do some homework but i'm not really feeling very artsy right now so it might not be that good.

God damn, I dont know where to start.

How about the most exciting news that happened to me.

Friday night I played a gig in Seattle, it was an open mic and I formed a trio that is so bad ass. We will freakin burn soooo bad! Were disgusting, straight up. Tim is the bass player, and Adam is the drummer. I will play piano, and maybe a lil bit of horn with the other Adam when he plays saxaphones. Anyways, were really bad ass, we have never played together until that day and we were all so excited to be involved with music with eachother we all went and got drunk on the roof of our friends building. It was awesome, the most perfect view of Seattle at midnight ever. It was so bad ass. Anyways, right after our gig Adam (drummer) had an audition for a traditional Cuban band. So me and Tim are chillin waiting for adam to be done, and these crazy cuban guys are like, "Come in, Come in, we need bass player." So i went in and sat on a stool while tim and adam played bass and nobody played piano. I was not going to invite myself to sit in. Then finally they were like, "What do you play?" ... "Piano" ... "Want to play?" ... "Yes" so I walked in and surprised these crazy cuban guys by playing exactly the right thing. They thought, 'This stupid white kid is not gonna know how to play' but did I show them. Anyways Cuban music is really repetitive so alot of the parts for piano, bass and drums sound similar. After probably a half hour of playing simple montunos while these conga and timbale players are going crazy they told us we were hired as a rhythm section. I was so happy, first real gig out in the city. Given gig every Saturday night, 250$ for two hours at a cuban bar somewhere in town. Paid rehearsal saturday mornings. Anyways, ten minutes after me and Tim were hired and had finished celebrating those fuckers fired us. We were too young, they did not want anyone under twenty-one in the band and did not realize we were eighteen. You cannot even imagine how pissed we got... I think that is more the reason why we went and drank on the roof of Evans building.

Saturday was frustrating and stupid, and I feel like an idiot for it. I did not do anything. Came home and watched some movies and then went and chilled with the lady. Actually that was on sunday.

Sunday was good. Hung out with the best lady in the world. We had some girl talk, some communication. I'm glad we can actually do it (talk), it makes us tighter!

Sunday night, saw my best friend in the whole world (sarcasm) Funny... because I talked about not wanting to see him the night before. Pissed me off. made me angry for the duration of the movie Ray, which was quite good and long. Got over it and had some fun with the one and only chelsea. Love cootie, Love.

This is the longest lj update I have ever typed I think. I'm really mad about those stupid cubans.
